Petek Dinçöz 29 Mayıs 1980 tarihinde İzmir’de Sağlık Hastanesi’nde doğdu.
14 yaşına kadar İzmir’de yaşadı. Kıbrıs’ta düzenlenen güzellik yarışmasında dereceye girdi.
Ardından aldığı dizi teklifleriyle ve “Sırılsıklam” adlı diziyle oyunculuğa başladı. Daha sonra “Zehirli Çiçek”, “Bir Yıldız Doğuyor” ve “Nehir” adlı dizilerde oynadı.
Dizilerle birlikte sahne hayatı da başladı ve sahneye ilk kez Günay’da çıktı ardından Maksim’de assolist olarak sahne aldı.
Nişanlısı olan Can Tanrıyar, 8 yıldır birlikte olduğu Petek Dinçöz’e, 11 Ocak 2008 tarihindeki canlı yayın Beyaz Şov’da evlenme teklif etti. Beyaz’la birlikte Petek Dinçöz’e sürpriz yapan Can Tanrıyar, evlenme teklif ederken oldukça heyecanlıydı. Evlilik teklifini “Burada herkesin ve milyonlarca izleyicinin önünde benimle evlenir misin?” diyerek yapan Tanrıyar’a Dinçkök’ün teklifi “evet” oldu. Teklif sonrası yine bir sürpriz; Kutsi programa katıldı ve “İlanı aşk ediyorum” şarkısını söyledi. Şarkıyla dans eden çiftin, gözyaşlarını tutamadığı gözlendi. Dinçöz, Tanrıyar’ın programa getirttiği gelinliği reklam arasında giydikten sonra nikah masasına oturdu.
